No matter whether for breakfast, for coffee in the afternoon or just in between – pancakes always work! There are delicious alternatives for everyone who thinks there are too many carbohydrates in regular pancakes. We have 3 delicious recipes for protein pancakes in store for you.

Buttermilk Protein Pancakes

Ingredients for 2 servings of buttermilk protein pancakes
4 eggs
100 g buttermilk powder
50g-80g flour (we recommend corn flour)
60g protein powder
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Some ghee for frying

That's how it works:
The first step is to break the eggs and stir them until foamy.
Then stir in the protein powder and buttermilk powder and then mix in the flour, spoon by spoon, until a smooth dough is formed. The consistency of the dough should be like liquid honey, there may also be small lumps.
Heat the pan to medium heat, if possible a non-stick pan, and fry the pancakes until golden. A tip: when you see bubbles rising in the batter, it's time to flip the pancake.
Serve the pancakes with delicious berries and fruits as desired.

Which protein powder is best for pancakes?

It's best to use a powder without flavor or with vanilla for your protein pancakes. Here we recommend Protero Weide Whey with milk from pasture-raised Irish cows. Through the species-appropriate life of the cows in the fresh air, you not only get the best enjoyment, but also a clear conscience when enjoying it.

But just see for yourself and stop by the Protero Shop!
